DEFORMATION PROCESSES DURING THE DEVELOPMENT OF HYDROCARBON FIELDS: IMPACTON WELL PRODUCTIVITY

The article presents results of the investigations of time – varying reservoir parameters during development of hydrocarbon fields of the Absheron oil-gas region. It is proved a sig-nificant drop (below the hydrostatic) of the formation pressures occurring as a result of long-term production that is accompanied by degradation of the reservoir properties such as po-rosity and permeability. It is shown that technogenically induced reservoir rock deformations strongly affect their permeability that results in productivity index fall. It is demonstrated that the depletion degree of various hydrocarbon fields in the Absheron oil-gas region is not the same that should to be taken into account during further development of these hydrocarbon accumulations.

AKCHAGYLIAN HYDROSPHERIC PHENOMENON IN THE ASPECTS OF DEEP GEODYNAMICS

Hydrospheric disturbances are one of the defining elements of the development of both the stratigraphic scale and the scale of planetary periodization during the Late Cenozoic. The most exotic in paleogeographic and sedimentation-biotic terms is the Akchagylian basin – anomalously elongated deep to the north and characterized by a typology of transition from a brackish water regime to a semi-marine and marine one. The sea transgression in the Ak-chagylian time reached 200 and more meters, which could not but have a significant impact on the accumulation of precipitation and the climatic conditions of this period. On the basis of the detailed stratigraphic, structural-tectonic, palebiogeographic, and paleomagnetic analyzes, the boundaries and volume of the Akchagylian stage in the Eastern Paratethys region were revised. For the first time, the land-sea boundaries for this region during the period of the maximum of the Middle Pliocene (Akchagylian) transgression are distinguished. Based on the carried out regionalization, the concept of the “Akchagylian Phenomenon” received planetological and geophysical assessment. A clear connection is shown between the deve¬lopment of the Akchagylian basin with different tectonic elements, and first of all, with the recently revealed giant deep mantle structure rotating counterclockwise.

LANTHANIDE MINERALIZATION OF THE VOLCANIC BRECCIA OF TORAGAY MUD VOLCANO, AZERBAIJAN

The implemented research had established an unusual accessory mineralization of the breccia of mud volcano Toragay (South Gobustan). Along with titanium and iron, the accessory minerals included high concentration levels of lanthanides (La, Gd, Ce, Pr). The studies had also defined main lanthanide mineral – Davidite - (Ce, La, Y, U) 2Fe + 2 (Ti, Fe + 3) 18 (O, OH) 38. Numerous lanthanide minerals found in the volcanic breccias are unique. It is assumed that they were brought to the sedimentary cover by fluids.

LITHOLOGY AND STRUCTURE OF THE UPPER DEVONIAN DOMANIK FORMATION OF SOUTHERN TIMAN

The article provides detailed lithological description of the Domanik formation in the Ukhta area. The terms “Domanik” is applied to an entire Upper Devonian sedimentary suc-cession (domanikites) uniting a wide range of rocks of the similar composition and oil-gas content. The description is based on the reference sections studied at the mouth of the Domanik brook and on the Ukhta and Chut rivers. Described sediments appear to be the principal source rocks feeding the hydrocarbon reservoirs of the Timan-Pechora oil-gas province
